PORCH ENCLOSURES can be designed in a variety styles addressing both functional and architectural requirements. EXISTING PORCHES…. can have broader function when screened in for Summer use, or when an enclosure incorporating glass is designed to increase usage to three or four seasons. Aluminum Products will work with your objectives, develop alternatives, then measure, manufacture and install the enclosure you've always wanted. NEW PORCHES……….. offer an opportunity for cost savings when your architect or builder works with Aluminum Products to incorporate standardized units into your design. Aluminum Products will manufacture and provide units for installation by your builder, or provide installation by our qualified and insured employees. ENCLOSURE OPTIONS FLOOR TO CEILING APPLICATIONS
Screen Enclosures provide insect protection and maximum ventilation. Units may be attached edge to edge so any size opening with perpendicular sides can be accommodated.
Weather Panels are storm door blanks (doors without hardware) which may be installed as single units between supports, or mounted edge to edge they can form entire walls in larger openings.
Primary Vinyl Sliders have Low-E insulated glass and should be considered when there is a potential for heating the porch area during cold weather… also when optimizing access from various points is a design consideration.
KNEE WALL APPLICATIONS Where porch designs include a partial wall around the perimeter, both the Screen and Weather Panel options may be considered, along with: Storm Windows which operate vertically and should be considered when a self storing unit is preferred and openings are taller than they are wide. Storm or Primary Sliders which operate horizontally should be considered when a self storing unit is preferred and openings are wider than they are tall. If heating the porch is a possibility, Primary units provide the option of insulated glass.
